Bari is most famous for its handmade pasta such as orecchiette ear-shaped pasta, recchietelle or strascinate, chiancarelle and cavatelli. The little savory taralli, friselle and sgagliozze can be found in the streets selling them as snacks. Bari also offers a range of fresh fish and seafood and often eaten raw.
