You will also have the chance to see Dante's house, the place where legend says he met Beatrice for the first time.
Moving on, you will proceed deeper into the city itself, immersing yourself in its culture and history.
The tour continues with a stroll through the historic streets of the city to arrive in Duomo Square: from the outside you will learn the secrets of Giotto's Bell Tower and the famous Baptistery crowned with its golden bronze doors. This is also the location of the famed Porta del Paradiso. Last but not least, there is the breathtaking Cathedral itself, that you will admire from the outside.
Then you will access to the famous Galleria dell'Accademia – best known as the permanent home of the most famed sculpture in the world, David by Michelangelo. While at the Accademia, you will also be able to view a series of other Renaissance masterpieces as well, the unfinished works of art Prigioni, San Matteo, la Pietà di Palestrina and other masterpieces by the great artist.
