Admire Michelangelo's David, one of the most magnificent statues in the world

Among all the works of art stored in the Galleria dell'Accademia, the most famous is without doubt the David, a colossal sculpture over 5 meters high, built by Michelangelo Buonarroti in the early sixteenth century. Originally located in Piazza della Signoria, at the end of the nineteenth century the David was moved inside the museum to be preserved in the best way. During the guided tour you will learn different things especially about Michelangelo and the fascinating period in which he lived.

Every bit of the tour was wonderful!

We started out going to Palazzo Michelangelo than to a Medieval town where we had the world famous gelato then onto a one hour horse back riding through the vineyards and olive groves. Our last adventure ended with a tasty gracious lunch at a wine tasting school. Every part of this tour was exciting and adventurist. Thank you for making our trip to Florence memorable.
