From Sorrento, you will reach by boat two of the incredible Italian treasures: Pompeii and Capri Island.You will comfortably wait at your centrally located hotel in Sorrento and the pick-up service will take you to the port of Piano di Sorrento. Once there, you will embark on your amazing boat and sail from there to the Castellammare di Stabia port. You will admire the Sorrentinian Coast and the blue water and beautiful landscapes.
Once you will get to Castellammare di Stabia, you will be taken to your comfortable bus, onboard which you will get to the first stop of your tour: Pompeii. Pompeii is a famous ancient city that attracts plenty of tourists every year. You may be interested in the ancient history and civilization, magnificent volcanoes, powerful eruptions, wonderful views, sailing, or discovering more about Italy. All these are great reasons for joining this small group tour that will offer you the possibility to travel back in time, in 79 AD, when the violent eruption of Vesuvius surprised the citizen of Pompeii.
The guided visit to the archeological site will last about 2 hours, and you have the chance to see the main features of the ancient city destroyed in that year, such as baths, bakeries, arena, brothel and many others. An official English-speaking guide will provide you interesting information about all these.
Once your guided visit at the excavation site will be concluded, you will board back your comfortable bus and reach the port. From there, you will embark your boat and sail towards the Island of Capri. Upon arrival, you will see the island by boat with stops to visit the Marvelous Grotto, the White Grotto, the Green Grotto; along the way you will admire the Natural Arch, the Villa Curzio Malaparte, the Faraglioni rocks and the Lighthouse of Punta Carena. You will also have the opportunity to take a swim in the sea: there will be a stop for swimming and snorkelling, and a break with sandwich and drinks offered on board.
Then you will have about 3 hours of free time to autonomously visit the magical Island of Capri, with its characteristic old town and its beautiful views of the turquoise sea that surrounds it. You can explore the old town located on the hilltop, walking through the narrow streets full of charm and tradition.
Moreover, once back on board, you will enjoy a nice tasting of the famous Limoncello, produced on site! After the daily-tour, you will be head back to the port of Sorrento. Transfer back to your hotel or to the meeting point.
