Through this private tour, you will visit the beautiful city of Amalfi, founded in the Roman period and became a Maritime Republic during the ninth century. Particularly famous in the history of the city, and today live only in two paper mills survived, is the paper industry, linked to the production of fine paper of Amalfi; in town, you can visit the Paper Museum.
Moreover, you cannot miss a visit to the Duomo, the city's iconic Sicilian-Arabic style dating from the ninth century and later expanded with the bell tower and the altar of St. Andrea.
Then, you will reach the beautiful town of Ravello that is located on a hill behind Amalfi. It is one of the most famous and scenic tourist centers of the region, visited by many tourists from every country, attracted by its intellectual appeal, the charm of its architecture, and its beautiful villas. Founded in the fifth century, it was originally a place of shelter from the barbarians that marked the fall of the West Roman Empire; later on, with the passing of the centuries, it has been subject to various artistic influences that have made it unique.
The main attraction of the city is without doubt Villa Cimbrone, largely occupied by a huge park, decorated with statues, various antiquities, fountains, grottoes and culminating in a belvedere overlooking, in particular from the famous Terrace of Infinity, landscapes of incomparable beauty of the Gulf of Salerno and the nearby seashore places.
The tour will continue to Positano, a beautiful small town not far from Amalfi, famous throughout the world for the historic Saracen towers, its architecture and its breathtaking views. It extends vertically, a truly unique and rich history place, where you can stroll through narrow streets, squares, and shops full of local products.
At the end of the tour, you will come back to the hotel or the port (Naples or Sorrento, depending on your requirement) to embark on your ship.
