Departure from Rome is by coach, and you will pass through the Lazio and Campania regions. You will be stopping at Naples, the city that is popular due to its rich, cultural heritage, art and gastronomy. To enjoy the beauty of this enchanting city, your coach will climb the Vomero Hill where you will observe how the city overlooks the bay of Naples that spreads out from the Sorrento peninsula to the volcanic regions of Phlegrean fields. You will have the opportunity to see the active volcano Vesuvius and the way it dominates the skyline of the city, a sight that is striking enough for some good pictures.Travelling south, you will reach Pompeii where we will have lunch with real Neapolitan pizza. After that, you will reach Pompeii ruins and visit them with skip the line tickets. This is where you will learn about the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and how it wiped out the city, yet preserved precious objects. Then leaving the city of Pompeii, we will travel along the Sorrentine Coast and arrive at Minori where you will be checked into a hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.
Minori is known for its pastry products and delight which consistently attract tourists the world over and yearly as well. So you will catch a lot of fun as you explore the 'City of Taste"; which is home to the great Villa Marittima Romana, which is believed to be one of the most ancient and highly significant buildings on the entire Amalfi coast. The climate in this city is agreeable, which has made it earn the name 'Eden of the Amalfi Coast.' Afterwards, you will have dinner and stay overnight.
After enjoying a breakfast meal at your hotel, you will have enough time to shop or enjoy a bit more of sightseeing before heading out to Pompeii in the afternoon by 2 p.m. From Pompeii, you will continue your trip back to the city of Rome where the tour ends officially, and your estimated time of arrival at the ancient city is 9 PM:
