Your private day trip is the perfect choice for those who arrive by cruise/ship at the port of Naples or Sorrento: the pick-up service with a private car/minivan (at disposal a total of 7 hours) will pick you up directly at the harbor and takes you to visit two archaeological sites of great importance: Pompeii and Herculaneum. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to the port or to your hotel in Sorrento or Naples.
The first half of the tour will be at Pompeii, frozen during time as a result of the tragic eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD that submerged the entire city up to 10 feet with volcanic materials. You can visit the ruins of Roman shops, spas, gyms, brothels, and other ancient buildings, miraculously preserved over the centuries, discovering amazing pieces of evidence found in the area.
Herculaneum, just like Pompeii, was a Roman city that disappeared due to the same eruption. In this case, however, the mud layer of the volcano was so plentiful even to protect it better both from raiders of the treasures and atmospheric agents. You will visit the spacious houses, shrines, baths, and villas of rich Romans in the region, beautifully decorated with frescos and mosaics.
Do not worry about the pick-up, transfer, and drop-off: your professional and private English-speaking driver (at your disposal for a total of 7 hours) will be at your disposal, in order to let you join this fantastic eXPerience. At the end of the tour, you will go back to your hotel or the port (Naples or Sorrento, depending on your requirement) to board your ship.

The Spanish-speaking driver is included in the price ONLY for departures from Naples. ON REQUEST, subject to availability and with an additional cost, it is possible to request a Spanish-speaking driver also for departures from Sorrento.
This tour can depart from Naples or Sorrento, depending on where your ship will dock. During the booking, in the "Additional Information" page, specify the port and details of the cruise (name and scheduled times of arrival and departure) in order to organize the pick-up and drop-off services.
