In the direction of Portofino, visit the Bay of Paraggi with a well-equipped beach and crystalline waters. Historically accounted that Richard the Lionheart rested in Castello Brown on the eve of the third Crusade. Visit Parish Church of San Martino, Church of San Giorgio, Oratory of Our Lady of the Assumption to view a host of famous 18th century religious paintings.
The wonderful Italian fishing village of Camogli is part of Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino and known for is colourful houses that lines by the beach. The village is dense with olive and pine trees of the Golfo Paradiso. Historically it was the "City of Thousand White Sails".
Go through the elegant streets of Santa Margherita to see the 15th century defence castle against the attacks of the Northern African pirates or the Basilica of St. Margaret of Antiochia. As you are on your way, you will pass by Nozarego, a natural terraced house over the Bay of Tigullio and San Lorenzo della Costa that is located on the slopes of the mountain.
