Tuscany is home to one of the world’s best wine and this is your opportunity to taste some of the best wines of the region - Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino. As part of our tour, we will drive through the UNESCO Heritage Val d’Orcia passing through quaint beautiful villages situated in the valleys of rolling Tuscan hills, such as Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano. The tour will include visits to two wine cellars to taste and learn the secrets of wine making. We will stop at the most beautiful Tuscan town, Pienza for a pleasant stroll before we head towards a traditional dairy farm where you will have the occasion to taste the famous Pecorino cheese

The stunning Val d’Orcia

Val d’Orcia is known to have the most stunning and beautiful landscapes in all of Italy. Situated in between the rolling hills, Val d’Orcia is an exceptional reflection of the harmonious nature creating perfect aesthetical pictures and photographs. Val d’Orcia is part of Siena’s agricultural hinterland and was carefully cultivated to form gentle rolling hills. Val d’Orcia is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. As we drive, we will pass through Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano.

Join us for some Tuscan wine tastings

Part of our wine tasting tour is that we will visit Italy’s best known and the most expensive and prestigious wines, Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano. Their world renowned Sangiovese vineyard runs along the Orcia River, where you can only find the best quality of Sangiovese wine grapes. Here we will visit the cellars to taste a variety of these exquisite wines and learn the secrets of their exceptional wine making.

Fall in love with Pienza

Pienza, the touchstone of Renaissance urbanism is a UNESCO town. The entire village was rebuilt as an ideal Renaissance town which now stands pridefully on top of Tuscan hills. It is one of the most charming Tuscan towns you will ever encounter! As we stroll through the well-preserved Pienza, we will pass through some main sights such as Palazzo Piccolomini, the Cathedral (Duomo), Palazzo Vescovile and the lovely Italian narrow streets lined up with crumbly walls. We will then proceed to a dairy farm to taste the famous Pecorino cheese made from sheep’s milk where it was once a staple diet for the ancient Roman legions.
