A fabulous 4-days guided tour of Italy: you will visit the finest cities and see only the best that the country has to offer. During your tour, you will see many masterpieces and eat the most delicious gourmet cuisine in the world.
Departure from Rome. First stop at Assisi, where you will see walls built during the Middle Ages surrounding the town. At the Basilica of St. Francis you will spend time on your own gazing at the masterpieces that were created by Giotto and Cimabue. Free time for lunch (NOT included). Departure for Siena, in Tuscany, famous for the Piazza del Campo. Horses run around the town square in Siena during the Palio a very important event for the locals. Departure for Florence for check-in, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, discover Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Impossible not to be fascinated with its monuments, its buildings, its churches. Michelangelo helped turn Florence into the city it is today and you can see the spot at the Baptistery that he envisioned as the Gates of Paradise. Visit Santa Maria del Fiore, better known as the Duomo, marveled at the famous Brunelleschi's dome. From the square stands the bell tower, partially realized by Giotto. In the heart of Florence, you can find Piazza Della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and the Basilica of Santa Croce. After lunch (included), spend the afternoon walking on the cobbled streets of Florence on your own. During your free time in Florence, you can stroll along the streets or you can book an excursion in the afternoon to Pisa (optional), famous for the Miracle Square, the Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and other important monuments. Dinner at leisure (NOTincluded) and overnight at the hotel in Florence.
After breakfast, you will journey to the city of Bologna. In this elegant city, you will be able to visit numerous shops on the street and visit the porticos. As you are in the heart of the city, you will experience Neptune Square and Major Square before visiting King Renzo's Palace. The Basilica of San Petronio may be the largest in the world, but Bologna is known for more than that Basilica. It is world famous for its tasty gourmet cuisine: you will be able to enjoy a wonderful lunch (NOT included) before departing for your next destination. In the afternoon, continue toward Padua, famous for its Sant'Antonio Basilica: one of the most visited churches by pilgrims of the catholic world. Later in the afternoon, arrival in Venice: the city of Love, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful city built by man! Check in at your hotel (in Venice MESTRE). Dinner and overnight at the hotel*.

Tour ends after breakfast at the hotel (in Venice MESTRE). On request, you may opt for an extension in Venice.
