During this day tour you will be immersed into religion and art! In the morning, you will attend the Papal Audience at St. Peter’s Square or in the Audience Hall. After a good lunch at an italian restaurant, you and your group will move onwards to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. At the end of the tour your expert guide will take you to visit the St. Peter's Basilica.
Your full day tour will begin with a very special opportunity, that you will probably live just once in life: attending the Papal Audience, during which you will be able to see and listen to the words of the Pope. Our assistant will give you the directions and information about the location (the St.Peter's Square or the Audience Hall) and you will spend the morning there untie the end of the Papal Audience. After this unique experience, it will be time for lunch! The lunch in a restaurant in the surrounding area is included in the tour package to let you taste typical Italian dishes, before going on with your full day tour to the Vatican Museums!
Your expert guide will take you to the entrance of the the Vatican Museums, where you will avoid the queue thanks to the skip the line tickets included in the tour. Stand in the midst of the greatest art collection in the world in the Vatican Museums. Here you will see the works of the great Renaissance masters such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Perugino and Bernini. Not missing the grand and stunning Sistine Chapel, hand decorated by Michelangelo: the guide will explain you the history and the details of this world-known attraction and will be available to answer to all of your questions.
As you exit the Sistine Chapel, we will skip the entrance line into St. Peter’s Basilica where you will see the stunning Michelangelo’s La Pietà and Bernini’s Altar Baldachin. Bask in the incredible marble architecture and wealth of St. Peter’s Basilica. Our full day tour ends after a tour at St. Peter’s Square surrounded by Bernini’s Colonnade, where you can enjoy a beautiful overall view of the entire square, which is probably one of the most popular in the world!
