This small group trip, aboard a rubber boat will show you a number of magical and wonderful sites just a stone’s throw from the coast of Northern Sardinia, Your day will not only allow you to enjoy these attractions, but also to have some well-earned rest stops where you can relax on white sand beaches or take a dip in the turquoise waters!
The northern Sardinian coast is special in a way that is unique to this part of the world. You won’t find the crowds of places like the Amalfi Coast on the Italian mainland, but you will still see a number of historical and natural sights that will have you aching to come back. The fact that you’ll be heading from one beach with turquoise waters and white sands to another is the perfect way to disconnect from the daily grind! A group tour in a rubber boat with a friendly skipper is the perfect way to see this special part of the world.
You’ll start your day in the charming hamlet of Cannigione, in the Arzachena district. From there, your friendly skipper will show you to your rubber boat before embarking into the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Your first stop is the island of Caprera, although you may know it as Garibaldi Island – since the last house of the Risorgimento hero is there! Although you’ll stop to see the house, we really want to show you Caprera’s natural beauty, and you’ll be able to stop at Cala Coticcio for a refreshing swim. Here, you’ll see pinkish rocks and native vegetation. After that, it’s onto the island of Giardinelli an d the Testa di Polpo – a huge rock which is shaped like an octopus’s head! You’ll have another chance to stop and swim and admire the natural beauty around you here. On the way back, enjoy a short tour of La Maddalena and Palau coasts, before disembarking in time for dinner at Cannigione.
