This whole day tour includes a visit to the most famous sites of Rome, the Colosseum and Roman Forum and the Vatican Museums. The day begins with a detailed tour through the sites of the Roman Forum. After lunch, we will move onwards to the Vatican Museum to explore the most important art collections in the world, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
Rome was built on seven hills but the Palatine Hill is the most well preserved excavated site of ancient Rome. Here in the Roman Forum, we will see the archaeological ruins of ancient Rome such as the Colosseum, the arches of Constantine and Titus, marketplace, temples, basilicas, road and streets. Your guide will eplain you every secret and detail of the history lying behind these world-famous attractions. After the visit of the Colosseum, it wil be time for a tasty lunch full of typical Italian dishes, which is included in the tour.
Explore immense art collections and treasures in the Vatican Museums, amassed throughout the centuries. There are more than 50 galleries and one of the largest museums in the world. With your guide and the small group, you can discover the most important Renaissance art pieces in the world, such as in Pio Clementino Hall, Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere, the Raphel's room, the Candelabra Gallery, the Tapestries Gallery, the Maps Gallery and the Sistine Chapel.
Come and view Michelangelo’s famous artworks in the Sistine Chapel. Here, you can learn the most important Papal functions held in the Sistine Chapel. Lastly, we will skip the line of entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica for a grand tour ending at the Colonnades in St. Peter’s Square, from where you can have an overall view on the impising Basilica and its Cupola.

It is not permitted to enter Churches in shorts, uncovered shoulders, miniskirts. Should St. Peter's Basilica be closed for religious ceremonies, the tour will instead include the visit of Raphael's rooms.
Please note that the Colosseum entrance tickets (€20 per person) are not refundable in case of cancellation.
