Choose this 6-days tour to discover the allure of the Amalfi Coast while touring all of Southern Italy's greatest highlights. Visit the famous Naples, the archaeological excavations at Pompeii, the Island of Capri, the stunning town of Amalfi and other lovely coastal sites.

Day 1: Rome - Naples

This escorted tour will depart from Rome railway Station, where you will meet our local assistant who will give you the information about the tour and the directions for getting on the high-speed train that will take you to Naples. As soon as you arrive at Naples Train Station, a minivan will wait for you to take you to the Hotel in the center of Naples. After that, you will have the entire day at your disposal to explore Naples,  around the old town, including the main attractions like Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace and Umberto I gallery and taste the well-known Neapolitan cuisine.

Day 2: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento

After breakfast, it will be time to discover one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the world, Pompeii.  You will reach the area with a transfer by minivan or minibus and here you will access the excavations with tickets that are included in the tour, and then an expert guide will explain to you everything about the history of this fascinating place. After the walking tour of Pompeii, you will leave for Sorrento, a charming town located on the Sorrentine Peninsula. Dinner at your leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Sorrento, Capri 

After breakfast, early departure to the island of Capri. Once arrived, you will join a wonderful boat trip around the island to admire the crystalline sea, the sea caves, and the tiny houses. With a supplement you may also visit the Blue Grotto (weather and sea conditions permitting). Back on the land, you will have the chance to stroll around the picturesque alleys of Capri and join a stop at the famous Piazzetta, and then to reach Anacapri. After that, you will return back to Sorrento by ferry. Dinner at your leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Sorrento, Stop in Positano, Amalfi Coast

After breakfast, departure to Amalfi Coast. You will travel along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast drive. En route, you will enjoy magnificent views over many picturesque fishing villages. There will be a stop in the beautiful village of Positano: here you will have about 2 hours of free time to stroll at your leisure around the picturesque alleys or to have shopping to buy some souvenirs. After this pleasant stop, you will depart toward the hotel in Amalfi. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Amalfi Coast

After breakfast, join this day at your leisure to revel in the beauty of this wonderful coastal village or simply explore the area. You can choose among some optional tours (contact us for more information.) You can visit on your own the villages of Ravello and Amalfi, or just plunge into the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Dinner at your leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Amalfi Coast, Rome

After breakfast, you will have a free morning for however the mood takes you. In the afternoon, transfer back to Naples, where you will take the high-speed train to Rome. The estimated arrival time in Rome is in the late afternoon.
