Our grand tour starts at Colosseum, one of the most impressive spots in Rome. From there we trace a path through the cobbled streets of the city to the superb Ancient Rome path. Guests will then admire the Constantine Arch and a part of the Via Sacra leading into the open-air museum of the Forum area. Shore trippers will learn Roman Emperors glorious past history, as they never would have guessed. Piazza Venezia and the Palatine Hill are the gateway to one of the biggest archaeological parks in the world: Roman Forum and Palatine Hill: the political, administrative and religious centre of Rome.
Then proceed to Trevi Fountain, it will amaze guests with its stunning beauty after recent renovation works: toss a coin in the water and wish to return back to Rome. After a short walk you will see the impressive and romantic Spanish Steps: one of the most impressive examples of Baroque architecture in Rome, boasting one of the most romantic and suggestive perspective of Rome. After lunch break visit the Pantheon and its gorgeous interiors, then board again the coach towards the Vatican. The tours ends at the magnificent Saint Peter's Square where can be admired the Bernini colonnade and the amazing Basilica facade which is visited from outside. Return to the port at 3.30 PM.
