Enjoy this 9-Days Semi Escorted Tour to discover the most beautiful attractions of Italy: you will depart from Rome after visiting well-known monuments like Vatican Museums, and you will head to the beautiful South of Italy, including Pompeii and Sorrento. After arriving at the airport, make your way to the hotel. Check-in and enjoy your first day in Italy,
After breakfast at your hotel, you will have some time to discover Rome at your pace, before a panoramic night tour of Rome. Afther admiring the wonderful Trevi Fountain at night, together with many other monuments, back to the hotel on your own and overnight.
On the third day, relax with an early breakfast at your hotel and prepare for a fantastic tour of the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica in then morning with skip-the-line tickets. On this tour, you will see one of the most important art collections in the world. Admire the beauty of the gallery of tapestries and geographical maps, along with the works of Raphael, before arriving in the famous Sistine Chapel and finish the tour, St. Peter's Cathedral, the largest Catholic Church in the world.
After breakfast, pick up at your hotel from 6:45 am approximately. Your journey begins heading south along the so-called Sun Highway, crossing the fertile Roman countryside and the area known as Castelli Romani, dotted with enchanting medieval villages and arriving in Naples, one of the largest and famous cities in Italy. Short panoramic tour climbing to Vomero hill to enjoy beautiful views of the Gulf of Naples with the Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida and the city below; you will have time to take some nice pictures and then return to Mergellina where you will have time for a short walk to the marina, before being boarded to the bus heading to the restaurant for lunch. The lunch break will be served in a first class hotel in Ercolano, set in magnificent grounds with one of the best examples of what eclectic gardens were during the 1700s. After lunch, you will reach Pompeii to enter into the world-famous site with skip the line tickets. Visit the haunting ruins of Pompeii, traveling back in time to the tragic days in 79 AD when the silent Mount Vesuvius suddenly erupted, covering the prosperous. Roman city in deadly volcanic ashes and poisonous gasses, leaving this thriving city crystallized until our days. You’ll learn how people lived at that time, visiting houses and “bars” of the time, admiring frescoes and mosaics to imagine how productive and prosperous the city was before the dreadful day. After the visit, you will drive along the Sorrentine Coast, arriving in Sorrento for dinner (dress code: jacket for men) and an overnight in your new hotel.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then choose how to spend your day perhaps choosing an optional excursion and, visiting the island of Capri. Depending on the weather, you might have the chance to enter the famous Blue Grotto. You will then takeoff in the afternoon to Rome. Arrive in Rome and overnight.
After breakfast at your hotel, spend a leisurely morning for last minute shopping or to keep on exploring the marvels of Rome. Make your way back to your hotel for one last overnight in Italy’s capital city.
Pick up at your hotel from 6:45 am approx. and transfer to the train station. Take-Off by high speed train and arrive in Florence, where you will take in the sights around the city with a visit to the Duomo, the Baptistery with the bronze doors by Ghiberti, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Uffizi Gallery (inside with Skip the Line) and Piazza Della Signoria. After lunch, spend the afternoon exploring the “Cradle of the Renaissance” on your own. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Venture out into Florence on your own after breakfast at your hotel, buying adornments on the Ponte Vecchio, wandering through the Boboli Gardens, and strolling along the Arno River. If you’d rather take a day trip to nearby Pisa or San Gimignano, you may book a different excursion. Return to your Florence hotel.
Breakfast at your hotel and, then, you will have the entire morning to go for some last-minute souvenir in Florence. Towards the afternoon, at the assigned hour, head over to Florence train station for a ride on the rails to Rome. Arrival at the train station of Roma Termini and end of our services to you.
