The day tour starts early in the morning: you will be picked-up directly at your hotel in Cagliari or in any other address you prefer (within the city) and you will travel aboard a comfortable mini-bus for 250 miles that separate Cagliari from Alghero, together with your friendly expert guide. During the trip, we will enjoy a wonderful panoramic drive of Capo Caccia and the Porto Conte Park, gorgeous places that exude an atmosphere of unspoiled nature, with breathtaking views on the sea.
Finally, you will arrive to the "Escala del Cabirol", a 660 step stairway on the ridge overlooking the sea that will lead you to the amazing Neptune's Grotto, a marine stalactite cave.
After the guided tour of the Neptune’s Grotto, you will get be to your bus to reach the old town of Alghero. Together with your expert guide, you will explore the picturesque narrow alleys of the town, as well as the squares, the monuments and the ramparts, surrounded by the massive fortified wall overhanging the sea.

The so-called "Escala Cabirol" stairway, which leads to the entrance of the Neptune's Grotto, consists in a 654-step stairway cut into the cliff, and it may be difficult for the elderly, children and pregnant women.
We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and sunglasses. In the summer months, it is also recommended to bring a hat, water and sunscreen.
