With our exciting half-day excursion by sailing boat you will explore the Gulf of Cagliari, also known as the Gulf of the Angels, with an expert skipper. This experience is definitely the best way to enjoy the splendid sea of Sardinia and the breath-taking sceneries that characterized this island.
You will meet the crew and the skipper directly at the port of Cagliari and from there, you will depart for a fantastic journey around the Gulf of the Angels, so-called because of an ancient biblical legend.
The route of this tour – which is variable due to wind conditions – might include the Sella del Diavolo (the “Devil's Saddle”), an imposing promontory that overlooks the sea and the entire city. Passing along this saddle-shaped hill, you will continue towards the Poetto beach, which is the longest urban beach in Europe.
Navigating along the Poetto beach you’ll have the opportunity to admire some splendid bays and coves, such as the beach of Cala Fighera, the Grotta dei Colombi, as you learn ancient legend of the Devil’s Saddle promontory.
An alternative itinerary may take you to the other side of the Gulf, reaching the beach of Mari Pintau, on the East. This gorgeous cove, surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation, boasts an incomparable range of azure and turquoise that will leave you breathless… In fact, Mari Pintau means “painted sea” in Sardinian dialect.
During this exciting boat trip by sailing boat, we will have several stops in the most beautiful spots, where you will have the opportunity to relax or take a swim in the transparent sea.
After this 6 hours excursion, we will head back to the port of Cagliari. And getting close to the port you will admire a great panoramic view of this colorful sunny town.

Also, we recommend comfortable clothing, a hat, sunscreen, and - in summer - a bathing suit and a towel. It is also recommended to bring along some water.
