The sunny city of Cagliari, overlooking the "Bay of Angels" (name of the Gulf of Cagliari), is a Mediterranean gem rich in history, ancient traditions and splendid views on the crystal clear sea.
The four historic districts – which are Castello, Villanova, Marina and Stampace – are authentic open-air museums that reveals signs of the ancient origins of the city: from the Roman occupation until the present time.
Our reliable and comfortable mini-bus will pick you up directly at your hotel in Cagliari, or at any other address you prefer (within the city).
Then, we will drive you through the narrow cobbled streets of the district of Castello, where you will admire spectacular historic attractions, such as the Pisan towers and the ancient white cathedral, with a stop in one of the panoramic terraces to enjoy magnificent views on the gulf and take some terrific pictures.
The tour will continue along the Molentargius Pond (with its salt mines and the pink colonies of flamingos), the Park of Mount Urpinu (with its Mediterranean vegetation) and finally the urban beach of Poetto, with its fine sand and several kiosk bars.
From there you will admire the promontory of the Devil's Saddle, as your tour guide will explain you the reason of its name, and we’ll reach one of the most romantic corners of the town, the tiny beach of Cala Mosca and its lighthouse.
