Venaria Royal Palace is one of the UNESCO sites in Piedmont region of Turin. A few kilometres away from the centre of Turin, the Venaria Royal Palace was founded in the 16th century as a place of leisure and hunting where kings liked to entertain in lavish banquets and elegant parties as part of the hunting rituals. The tour will lead you through the basement rooms, which was formerly warehouses and kitchens, to learn about its history, customs and anecdotes of the House of Savoy ancestors. Whilst at the main floor, you will be treated to the vast collection of stucco, frescoes, sculptures and small architectural jewels of the Baroque period that is uniquely handcrafted by the artist in the 17th century.
