Spend a special day touring Tuscany from Florence – acknowledged as one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. You will discover three towns, each with their own wealth of cultural and artistic treasures to explore: Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena, and enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch with wine.
Trying to take in Tuscany in one day is a nearly impossible feat, but this tour makes a good show of things; art, culture, history, cuisine, and of course wine are all featured, along with some of the regions' most famous sights.
After the departure from the centre of Florence, head to Pisa, home to the world-famous Leaning Tower. You will see that Pisa has much more to offer than the Tower though, and will also see on your own their incredible Cathedral and Baptistery, along with the Monumental Cemetery.
We will then move to a wine estate in the foothills of San Gimignano, where you can enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch enriched by precious wines.
After lunch, you will proceed down into the village proper - San Gimignano, where you can marvel at the location once dubbed the 'City of Towers' in an era when everyone who was anyone was building them. You will wind your way through the maze of cobbled streets and explore local artisan shops.
The tour will end with a tour of the city of Siena, where you will be met by our specialist guide for a walk around pf the most important squares of Siena, from Piazza del Campo to the Cathedral. At the end of the tour there will be free time to enjoy some shopping in the centre.
Return to Florence in a beautiful Tuscan sunset.
