The tour will begin from the imposing Piazza San Marco (the Saint Mark’s Square), where you will meet your guide. Here, you can immediately begin the guided tour, which will focus on the history and origins of this square, probably the most famous of the entire city.
The guide will describe you the various buildings around the square: the Saint Mark’s Basilica, the Doge's Palace, the Campanile and the Magistrates. A unique way to learn a lot about the beauties of Venice.
From the Saint Mark’s Square the tour will continue to the district of Castello, one of the largest in Venice. The first stop will be the area of Santa Maria Formosa, where stands the homonymous church, and you will learn about its history and its development over the centuries.
