In this Venice Walking Tour & Gondola Ride tour, your expert local guide will whisk you to the city's most prominent attractions as well as its best-kept secrets.

Discover the history behind the famous Rialto Bridge

Begin your exciting tour at the alluring Campo San Giacomo di Rialto as you rendezvous with your professional, local guide and make your first stop at the oldest and most famous bridge spanning the Grand Canal - Rialto Bridge. Learn about the history behind this architectural and engineering feat. Situated near the bridge is the famed Rialto Fish Market, where you will make a short stop to learn about Venice's fishing history and its world-renowned cuisine along with a few restaurant recommendations.

Marvel at Venice's finest architectural gems

Anticipate the next part of your tour as you head to the sestiere of Cannaregio, a mystical and one of the few neighborhoods where you can experience the true Venetian lifestyle. Cannaregio is a treasure trove of magnificent monuments, and you will be spending the afternoon marvelling at the most prominent few. Be awe-inspired by the many intricate paintings housed within the Church of San Giovanni Grisostomo, painted by two of the most illustrious painters of Venice - Bellini and Sebastiano del Piombo. Marvel at the House of Marco Polo, the amazing statue by Verocchio within Campo San Giovanni and Paolo, and the peculiar Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, also known as the "marble church". Finally, drop by the 15th century Campo Santa Maria Formosa designed by a Renaissance architect. Your expert guide will entice you with enchanting stories of this water city's past and enlighten you on the Venetian lifestyle as you stroll through the winding alleyways. You will also enter into St. Mark's Basilica, the symbol of Venice, with skip-the-line tickets.

Take a tranquil Gondola Ride through Venice's Canals

As your day tour draws to an end, you will be experiencing the most popular activity among tourists – a thirty minutes, graceful gondola ride with an expert gondolier. Float down the Grand Canal and passing by grand buildings as you gain a fresh perspective of Venice. As each gondola can only take up to 6 people, this enchanting boat experience is completely cozy and soothing.
