These ancient cone-shaped towers made of stacked stones date back to prehistoric times and were built for defensive purposes. The nuraghi are a unique feature of Sardinia, the only place in the world where they were found.
 
More than 7000 nuraghi dot the island, but those of this particular area, about 30, are the ones that will offer you the most intense experience. This complex will allow you to observe not only the main tower (“nuraghe”), but also the ruins of a Bronze Age village.
