Things to know about Juliet's House

Among the most representative features of  Verona, is certainly the famous tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, written by Shakespeare on his masterpiece. Immersed in a magical scenery, not far from Piazza delle Erbe, stands the historic palace of the House of Juliet.
 
The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, set in Verona, has changed over time, bringing the fantasy to blend with reality, to the recognition of several places where the story would unfold.
 
The appearance of the House of Juliet was modeled between 1937 and 1940, through a series of renovations aimed at recreating the ancient medieval setting, inspired by the famous 19th century painting by Hayez, "the Last Kiss given to Juliet from Romeo ".
 
The famous balcony is the result from the assembly of marble remains of the 14th century. The attraction is worth seeing for its history and the beautiful atmosphere that exudes.
