A few kilometers from Trapani stand two of the most charming destinations in Sicily: the towns of Segesta and Selinunte, constantly fighting against each other in ancient times.
Segesta, no longer inhabited for many centuries, has a treasure dug in the rock: the greek theater, dating back to the 5th century, and the famous Doric Temple of Segesta.
Selinunte, in eternal competition with Segesta, is about sixty kilometers away. Of great importance is its archaeological park, with the ruins of the acropolis, several Doric temples and fortifications overlooking the sea.
